Health & Safety

Following the Tulsa City County Health Departments recommendations, YMCA of Greater Tulsa members over the age of 18 are required to wear a mask upon entering Y facilities and throughout ALL common areas, lobbies, hallways, pool area and locker rooms. In free weight and strength equipment areas masks are also REQUIRED.

As social distancing is available in group exercise studios and on cardio equipment, these are areas where masks are strongly RECOMMENDED.

In addition, members & staff will maintain a minimum of 6 feet distance while in the YMCA.

In order to allow for optimal distancing, the number of members checked in will continue to be limited

Staff will have temperatures checked upon entering the facility

Staff wear personal protective equipment (masks and gloves) and we ask that members follow the CDC recommendations while in our facility for face covering and hand washing.

Group Exercise classes are occurring in various spaces to encourage social distancing in addition to limiting class sizes in accordance with the spaces that classes occur. With these new spaces in mind, when attending any cycle classes that occur outside of designated cycle studios you will be asked to not wear cycle shoes with clips when entering the temporary space, but instead to utilize the chair next to the bike to sit and put your shoes on.  The same will be asked of you when exiting the gym to ensure that the flooring in the areas will not be damaged from the cleat on the shoes.
